Newspapers are not the only ones hurting
CBS4 is slashing and burning their staff as well. I had talked with a reporter a few weeks ago and it sounded like it was rocky, but this confirms it. But to layoff the NPPA Video Editor of the Year? Awesome...

The news biz has been saying "we need to change the business model" for nearly five years now. They've been screaming it from the hilltops, yet all we hear is the roaring sound of the bottom falling out of the business. Ad based revenue is looking like it's in the ICU with severe brain damage.
